British expat singer-songwriter-guitarist Bobby Long recently released his debut studio album, A Winter Tale. A talented young artist, Long captured the attention of stateside crowds a couple weeks ago at SXSW 2011, showcasing his blues-laden pop songs that are filled with haunting lyricism and charming melodies. A Winter Tale demonstrates the artist’s growth since he first took up acoustic guitar at 17, possessing a polished sound that contains elements of blues, folk, country, and rock through electric guitar, pedal steel and piano instrumentation.
