After five years in the making, Northampton, MA based singer-songwriter Dennis Crommett is releasing his second solo album, In the Buffalo Surround. A hard working musician, Crommett keeps busy with a variety of projects as a member of the chamber pop band The Winterpills (guitars), the City of Domes and as frontman for the indie rock outfit Spanish for Hitchhiking. However his solo efforts show a more intimate side of Crommett, with lyrics and a title that speak to his reverence for the Sioux tribe’s relationship with and respect for nature as well as love.
