After a meteoric rise following the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, the Fleet Foxes are out with their highly anticipated sophomore record, Helplessness Blues. The epitome of grace under pressure, these talented Seattle-based musicians manage to mature yet still figure out the right formula. In addition to their characteristic acoustic folk-pop, thoughtful lyrics, and rich harmonies, Helplessness Blues shows a subtle increased complexity with elaborate, lush arrangements.
