San Francisco’s garage rock sensation The Fresh & Onlys are set to release their highly anticipated album Play It Strange on October 12 on In The Red label. Their third full-length is the band’s most solid effort to date, and marks the first time the group recorded outside of their home studio, opting for analog taped tracks under the watch of producer Tim Green (Fucking Champs, Comets on Fire) at Louder Studios. The results are exceptional, showcasing the band’s trademark mix of jangly psychedelia, dark twangy vibes, melodic sunny ’60s pop and blustery vintage garage rock sounds.
