Iron & Wine – Kiss Each Other Clean

  • January 20, 2011

Indie folk singer/songwriter Samuel Beam, known best by his stage name Iron and Wine, is releasing his much anticipated fourth album Kiss Each Other Clean on January 25th. Beam’s sound is clearly evolving, moving beyond his characteristic spare, thoughtful lo-fi acoustic indie folk towards a fuller, dynamic sound. Experimenting with and calling upon folk, jazz, funk, blues, and 60’s/70’s pop, Beam casts a wide net of influences yet produces a collection that is measured and perfected. Kiss Each Other Clean is a stunning addition to the already stellar Iron and Wine discography. Standout tracks include “Big Burned Hand”, “Walking Far From Home”, and “Your Fake Name Is Good Enough for Me.” – Written by JFelton
