Lincoln, Nebraska five-piece American soul, funk, and R&B artist Josh Hoyer and Soul Colossal follow-up their 2018 release Do It Now with their fifth full-length studio album, Natural Born Hustler – a contemporary take on mid-century funk, soul, and blues sounds. The band is led by Josh Hoyer (keyboards, vocals) along with Benjamin Kushner (guitar), Blake DeForest (Trumpet), Luke Annis (Trombone), Harrison ElDorado (drums), and Mike Keeling (bass). Natural Born Hustler was produced by Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds) and was recorded straight-to-tape with minimal overdubbing to add the unmistakable studio vibe of the golden era in music.
