Danish singer/Seattle-based session player Maggie Bjorklund (of the Darleens) is released her solo debut album Coming Home on Bloodshot Records. Known for her talented pedal steel guitar and compositions, Bjorklund stands her ground on the eleven Americana/roots songs with guests Calexico, Mark Lanegan, Rachel Flotard (Visqueen) and Jon Auer (Posies). Bjorklund makes a stunning impression with her sparse arrangements, melancholy tones, deep reverb, and rich melodies.
