Treetop Flyers – To Bury The Past

  • February 1, 2011

Country soul has found a welcome home in the London quintet Treetop Flyers (named after the Stephen Stills song). Given the name, it is no surprise that their sunny, nostalgic Americana sounds were inspired by the likes of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Townes Van Zandt, and The Flying Burrito Brothers. But it is the talent of the group that pulls it off on the EP To Bury The Past, with gorgeous melodies and harmonies and infectious hooks. To Bury The Past has generated a lot of interest and is the more country inflected of 2 EPs that the band has in development (in addition to their forthcoming full-length debut).
